INSURANCE

The insurance contracted by UFSC currently covers, against personal accidents and medical-hospital and dental expenses, students regularly enrolled at UFSC during the performance of activities related to their education.

The current insurance is contracted with the company MBM Seguradora S.A.

To contact the insurer, visit https://mbmseguros.com.br/sinistro-ou-resgate/ and click on “Iniciar Solicitação” at the bottom of the page.

The insurance operates on a reimbursement basis, so in case of an accident, the student should access the insurer’s website, report the claim, and submit the Enrollment Certificate and other requested documents.

In case of doubts, please contact the Department of Academic and Professional Integration (DIP/PROGRAD). https://dip.ufsc.br
